? ? the support of China for Robert Mugabe?
Posted by: | CommentsI live in the UK, but my mother is from Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and most of my relatives live in South Africa. My relatives that live in Durban said that the Chinese were importing weapons (guns etc. ) into Durban harbour to deliver to Zimbabwe (presumably for a mass slaughter). Are the Chinese supporting Robert Mugabe and if so, why? What have they got to gain?

can she get a passport without an id?
Posted by: | CommentsIm planning to have my 16yr old sister over for christmas,coming from durban in south africa,she only has an id number,but not the actual green id book,can she apply for a passport(A. S. A. P),because i want to buy her ticket soon.
For those in england,since she is 16,can she also get free bus travel,even if she’s not a british citizen?As all under 16’s travel free,does it matter where ur from?What about on the tube?

Posted by: | CommentsI would love to catch a cargo ship or freighter cruise from Rio or Santos in Brazil heading to anywhere in Africa in early 2007. I’ll be backpacking South America starting in Lima, Peru on December 31, 2006 and will be arriving in Rio in time for Carnival mid February 2007. I am looking to catch a cargo around this time. As a budget traveller, price is extremely important. So far I have found that NSB Freighter carries passengers for approx 80 euros a day. So my question is, how many days would it take to get from Santos, Brazil to Durban Africa via cargo?? Anyone have ideas of other companies that may do a similar trip for cheaper? I am just looking to go one way. Preferrably from Brazil to Africa. However, I am open to go from West South America to China! Thanks so much. . I look forward to reading these answers!
